September 2007 Paula has contributed her expertise on all aspects of choosing music for weddings and civil partnerships to a new book, "A Very Pink Wedding: A Gay Guide to Planning Your Perfect Day" by Nicola Hill. This book is available at Amazon here. 8th March 2007 Concert to Launch "The Last Rose" - debut album by soprano, Fiona Wight. Paula will be accompanying Fiona on a selection of material from the album with her new Celtic harp. Venue: St Barnabas' Chapel, Greek Street, Soho. Doors 7.30 pm £10. 6th March 2007 Clive Morley Harps have filmed Paula playing examples of their lever harp range. The finished videos are due to be available on YouTube and on the Morley Website - www.morleyharps.co.uk - and as a promotional DVD. 25th February 2007 Paula has a new Celtic harp from Dusty Strings in Seattle, USA. Something of a Paula Smith signature model, the unique combination of wood, stringing, soundbody shape and decoration was put together by Paula herself. 24th June 2006 Concert at St Jospeh's Church, Basingstoke. Programme for the evening is music from the 1920s, 1930s and 1940s. See Here for Venue details or contact Paula for more information Here. 23rd November 2005 Paula has been invited to play Irish harp for His Excellency, Daithi O'Ceallaigh, the Irish Ambassador to the UK, at an Enterprise Ireland function, hosted by Vodaphone. 27th April 2005 Paula is leading a masterclass and workshop for harpists at Kings College School, Cambridge. 13th April 2005 Paula officially becomes the first harpist to appear on BBC1's Crimewatch UK! March 2005 Traditional Music Maker Magazine feature Paula and her harp on the cover of the March issue. She will be contributing a regular column featuring harp-related articles and news stories. March 2005 Paula has been invited to join Dark Ages Feasts, a troupe of performers who specialise in presenting authentic Medieval Banquets.
